Hello!
Yesterday i got a typical popup that there are updates to install, so as usuall i did but it returned some errors with amdgpu-mesa-dri:386 and amd 64, i had a similar porblem before after installing amd pro software so to get rid of dpkg error i removed those two packages since they are not working anyway...
But today when i booted up my pc it hang on a screen with blinking cursor, i have tried to run xserver from a console but it just terminates with error 1...
So now is my computer unusable and i cant work.
Thank you for your time and your reply.

Hi, Guys, I love the screensaver, have it on, and am using pics to randomly show on screensaver ever 3 min. But, screensaver sometimes doesn't work. Sometimes, my screen will sit there unused for several minutes and screensaver isn't coming on. Only if I go in to screensaver settings and back out will it work maybe once or so. What am I doing wrong? Is power settings supposed to be set a certain way? Help. karen

************* Found a driver on the Realtek site. *************
It is
2.5G Ethernet LINUX driver r8125 for kernel up to 5.6 9.007.01 2021/11/17 87 KB
Will this work? Has the LL 5.8 related to the kernel 5.8? In which case I presume a LL 5.6 should be installed?
Hi. Been using Linux Lite on an old laptop for some time for presentations and backing up my Rasp Pi. Works well. Thanks for making it.I thought I would try it on a new build MSI B550M. Installed latest LL 5.8 OK to a SSD but no internet connection. The MSI B550M has a Realtek® RTL8111H 2.5GB Ethernet. There are no Linux drivers on the MSI site. Is there a Linux driver for this, even at 1GB?
BTW, I booted with a tails-amd64-4.26 on a USB stick and that can connect to the internet, so the the hardware is working.
Thanks for reading.

Hi, linux lite user here. Recently my mouse has been bugging me. I mean it is getting disconnected at random times during the day :banghead. This is a new problem because a few weeks ago it was working just fine. The problem arose when i disconnected the mouse manually from the 'mouse and touchpad' app. I then renabled the mouse with xinput. Since then it keeps getting disconnected; I checked the ports, they were fine. Also it seems like the mouse has been programmed to disconnect at session startup hrug. So every time i boot the computer i have to renable the mouse.
