I installed LL6.0 on a Lenovo T61 Notebook. When I open LibreOffice Writer the O/S locks up and I have to reboot to get to the operating system again. Opening the Spreadsheet locks things up also. I would appreciate any fix for this problem.
Thanks,

That goes on and on, for at least 4 years, with all new versions. I use it daily so I know this.
I installed
version 6.0.3.2 and works fine, for at least three years (might be more...), and I've changed LL versions from 4.0 up to the current (6.0. ).
Give it a try, might solve the trouble.
What is weird with LibreOffice, is that locking Linux Lite, is far from being a "piece-of-cake" kind of job... However, they managed to do it, as it looks to me...
Hope that this version, will work for you, too! :)
All the best! :)
