when i try to run sudo freshclam the files start downloading and then it timeouts and restarts from the beginning, i have a limited data so i really need it to just download in one go, any help?

I have followed the manual but i cant get it to work, i have posted about this before but couldnt get a solution. Thought i would try again to solve the issue. The manual explanation is very brief, unless there is more information i have missed?
