Will the 'Preload' app, which is listed in Lite Tweaks, enhance performance on a 12 year old laptop which already has an SSD?

I installed 'Preload' but, as yet, see no change in performance. Maybe it needs a bit of time to kick in. As you say it does no harm to the PC, so I'll leave it installed.

Preload first has to learn which applications are used the most. ;) So patience.
