Lite 4.0 keyboard issues
#1

Working in a school and introducing students to Linux. Installed Linux Lite 4.0 on a netbook Asus Eee PC Seashell series. Went on really well and works so much better than windows on it. But there is a problem with the keyboard. I doesn't recognise the keyboard correctly, the key mapping is wrong. Instead of pressing fn keys to get the blue numbers on J.K.L,M,U,I,O,P I get numbers instead of lessons. Only works with external keyboard for all letters :(

Python developer packages went on really well and can't wait to show the computer science GCSE and A level students, but really want to see if the keyboard can be mapped first.

Looks like keyboard numlock is on!

1) Lenovo T520 i5 LL3.8 8GB ram, fast & stable
2) Medion P4 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, quite fast & stable
3) eeePC 901 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, fast & stable
4) eeePC 701 32bit LL3.8 1GB ram, slower & stable but small and light enough to travel with me to New Zealand when visiting family in Blenheim.
