LL 2.0 Logout White Screen Freeze

Hi, Thanks for such a nice OS .
Tried LL and Due to its simplicty installed on My machine .
Bt Now When i click LogOut button the System Goes to a White Screen or Sometime to User Selection Page. Bt cant Click on Any..

Tried Shutdown . it works fine ..but as i have multiple users in Home machine Switching User is a requirement .

I also had problem with the preloaded Firefox Browser , only Safe Mode Worked, So i installed Chrome and Opera after running Apt-get Update

Bt this Freezing irriates me . else i need to go back to Some other Ubuntu Variant which i dont want now . I have Limited Internet Plan at Home.

Please tell us about your Hardware. Menu, System, Create System Report.

Open up a terminal and type

sudo lshw
lspci

sudo will ask for your pssword.  Enter it even though you see nothing.  Also lshw take a few minutes - be patient.

Post the outputs.

I think it best to generate a system report, but one can also toggle the white screens on and off (temporarily) for both startup and shutdown. Other keys may also do this, but I use the up-arrow key and down-arrow keys to toggle that white screen on and off - sometimes, just to amuse myself...
