I might be wrong but, isn't a good thing having our system up to date for several days? I mean, it's not like it's been months since the last ones came in and as far as I know LL is not a rolling release distro neither it is based on Debian sid or any of the sort ... I never really care for that as long as the system works fine I assume updates will come when they have to, otherwise I'd install something like Arch or Sid and receive updates almost everyday ... just saying. :)
Without each others help there ain't no hope for us :)

I concur. I'm not a huge fan of updates anyway, and usually only choose security updates until I'm satisfied that other updates won't cause problems (watching the forums and stuff, looking for threads like, "update broke my _____").
