		Not sure if this is in the right place. The problem is that LL freezes up from time to time. It happens during writing emails, or writing on a forum, facebook or using LibreOffice Calc. Only option is a hard reboot by pressing the power button, the system doesnt unfreeze itself. Yesterday i did ran a memory check during boot and it did not find any errors. Last time it did freeze was this morning. The laptop is a dual boot and i only have the problems on LL. I dont know what to do to fix the problem. I already reinstalled LL but still it freezes from time to time.

		When it happens again, consider trying Ctrl-Alt-F1 and then Ctrl-Alt-F7.

Thank you. Had a freeze yesterday evening and this morning and Using both after each other brought the laptop back to life.

		[member=3473]TMG1961[/member] ,
It doesn't tend to happen to me when I'm using a mouse.  I seem to recall it happening when my touchpad is in use.  Perhaps I'm using the touchpad and the keyboard at the same time and a special combination of that causes the freeze.  So I unfreeze it by leaving the desktop environment and bringing it back with the key combinations I shared with you.
