I am finding time now to learn more about using the OS securely etc. - am I right to assume that Ubuntu wiki sites like  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FilePermissions are applicable to Linux Lite?

Ps: I presume that with the standard desktop LL 4.4 I am not using servers?
