Frostwire is unethical and depending on how it's used, illegal in many areas.  It's not just any Peer-to-peer sharing software, it allows and even encourages piracy (movies, music, even porn).

So does any torrent client out there. It's upon users to decide whether to cross or not legal/ethical boundaries, I don't see any difference between using frostwire or bittorrent or deluge or transmission which comes pre-installed in so many Linux distros, since all it takes is to visit one of the so many torrent sites all over the web, download a magnent link for whatever it is people want to download and that's it, that simple.

High risk stuff, and LL should have nothing to do with it

Under this logic no torrent client should be allowed to use in any OS out there.
EDIT: oh! And I almost forget it; when installing frostwire you have to check that box accepting and stating that you won't use it for ilegal/piracy purposes, so you saying that

is simply not true.

My favorite app for music is Audacious & the plugin's that come with it. Reason: You won't find a music player that is as light on system resources. Raises your CPU 1 maybe 2%. The 'shuffle music' feature actually works. When you load a folder of music it gives you the total time of music in that folder. (Winamp used to do that). It will also show you the artwork, if it's in the ID3. It also got a recent upgrade to version 3.9. Straightforward app that works well.

Simple classic Linux applications I use regularly: scalpel, nmap, chntpw, dmidecode, x11vnc, xming, fim, gnome-commander

Hey [member=5916]trinidad[/member]  that's quite a nice list. I wish I knew about scalpel before, I accidentaly deleted some files which I couldn't recover, it happened like a month ago or so, it's not like they were critical files or something but still. I did use a couple of tools but they weren't as user-friendly as I wished, I don't know if scalpel is but I'd had liked to try it and find out for myself. Now that you mentioned gnome-commander I remembered another couple of apps I forgot to put on that list: double commander and XFE file manager. I also agree with you on Linux Tweaks being a great app, I use it regularly and am really happy with it. :)

I'd echo previous posts recommending Clementine as a music player. 

Honourable mention for puddletag, a simple but invaluable app for cataloguing and tagging your music collection.

My other favourite is FastStone Image Viewer.  Designed for Windows, it is almost the only reason why I have Wine on my Linux system. 

FastStone provides both the facilities to organise photos (numbering/dating/renaming) and a range of options for tweaking images (cropping, adjusting colour, etc).  As an organiser it is more flexible and less intrusive than Picasa used to be.  As an image-processing app it is hugely less complex than Gimp.

I have tried Shotwell, Ristretto and Digikam, and also XnView.  But FastStone offers more versatility and more options than these, while remaining user-friendly.  Now if only the FastStone people would develop a version for Linux!

For me . I'm using a lot of none Lite apps like openshot to soon to be Fadein (script writering) I also use gimp plus I really like using Rambox. 
Rambox got my telegram, discord, hootsuite all in one app. But the fact of the matter is I been on lite cause of one simple thing the iso works.

Gnu image manipulation software (GIMP) - change it to single window mode.
GIMP is special to me as it is my only break thru in to the Linux or Open Source worlds, they made plugins of my makeup pallettes, the pallettes had over 9000 downloads, with a lot of positive feedbacks from home users, professional photographers, studios, and some model companies. I dont know how many d/l of the plugins.
Also in one banner contest they had, I had one banner showcased for a week with the other peoples banners, it rotated each persons banner at the top of the home page which I know happens often but it was still feeling very positive for me.

fsearch - first time using on this Linux Lite version, for [member=2]Jerry[/member] trial , I like it and will continue to use it in future installs.
