I'm using LL2 day2day now and I'm very happy with it. 8)
But tiny question: why do after boot some icons on the desktop jump to left upper?
Or: can I do something to prevend it?

That's a good question.
Have noticed the same behavior myself but haven't figured out how to stop that from happening.

I know it from another distribution (Wattos some years ago) and after updating it disappeared. But I did not find out what it was. ???

So, there is a bug in Lightdm as far as I can see? Wait for the update...

It happened again. It occures after I shot down the pc with by accident still one or more
programs on one or more desktops. This time (after reboot) I also saw very old things like an old
positioning of icons and even old, deleted tabs in Firefox from days ago..!
I have noticed earlier, that it looks like there is no kill-off program after shut down of the pc like
there was in Xubuntu 12.04. There IS still something 'special' in the 'shut down and (re)boot
cycle'. And then some icons on the desktop jump upper left. Sorry, only brainstorming.. ;)
