Android tablet OS upgrading
#1

Can I upgrade my Android tablet from 5.1 to 6.0 using these instructions http://neutab.com/info-detail.php?InfoId=13 using Linux Lite? Maybe with Wine? Will it wipe out all my downloaded apps, etc.?  :-\

Using wine. I doubt it.

Quote:(You need a Windows OS computer and your tablet to do the job)

Research at winehq required by you but if me. I would not chance on bricking my android device.

Please be cautious and double check your product model before moving on.

But if you don't care or worry about that. I would download Windows 7 from here.

Find a product key from a broken computer somewhere or online somewhere.

Run Windows in a Virtual Machine inside Linux Lite. Do the upgrade that way.
Not use wine at all.

Don't know. But probably will. Anyways. It would not be a surprise to me  if it did.

1. Wine might brick my android device.  :'(

2. NeuTab told me to check on their for the update a couple of months ago so warranty should not be a problem.

3. Downloading Windows 7 and virtual box.  :-\

4. Probably wiping out all my data, etc.  :'(

As long as it is working now, I don't think it is worth the trouble and risk.  :(

Thanks, rokytnji.
