This is supper chilled memory, -196C  :o :o :o


But 500 Terrabits per sq inch/25.4mm
Upgrades WIP 2.6 to 2.8 - (6 X 2.6 to 2.8 completed on: 20/02/16 All O.K )
Linux Lite 3.0 Humming on a ASRock N3070 Mobo ~ btrfs RAID 10 Install on 4 Disks :)

-196C sounds very nice at te moment..temp going to be well over 30C here the next days

Will this kind of very low temperatures has it's on effect on how the memory works? I mean, it is so low that you basically freezing the memory in such way that even the memory won't work properly? The lower the temperature, the higher the resistance of the semiconductors?

Looks to only be a proof of concept at this point. It will be a pretty incredible step forward if they can get to the point of manufacturing.

Yes, probably will never make it out of a lab....
Like the decades of research into "Organic" based memory/storage, nothing really viable at present...

IBM have some new interesting memory stuff that possibly will make it out of the lab Phase Change Memory
