Trying to get an operating system that works.

The good news is that my keyboard problems seem to have been solved but I still cannot type to the terminal when asked to enter my password following bitsnpcs's command line still & this problem seems to have even spread to the original command line that I used & mentioned in my original post  :o

I am tempted to buy the official DVD but I expect the problems would just continue
