How to set default desktop in Linux Lite 6.0

Hi, my own Linux Lite 6.0 desktop looks as it should (top image below). I created an account for my son, log into his account, and...the desktop looks entirely different (bottom image):

How can I change this to look like the default one (like mine)?

I just created a new user 'bob' without issue using Lite User Manager. How did you create the user?
