It helped me a lot to get rid of some i386 unwanted packages! 

 The CPU is a 64 bit so these are useless now. Uninstalling though, looks more difficult. Anyway, I got rid of the updates.

		Hi!
We had a bunch of the same laptop in the office a few years back.
I guess you have a reason for using an USB adapter, but usually there is an Intel or Broadcom inside the laptop.
Maybe it's disable in the BIOS?
