I am trying to install the Whatsapp desktop client using Wine.
I get a message saying I need to install the .NET framework, and when I click on install it just shows an error.

Anyone have success installing and using the Whatsapp desktop client?

I know there is a Whatsapp web client in chrome, but that doesn't allow making video calls through the laptop.

You may already know this, but not every app works in wine, and that seems to be the case with WhatsApp too. Check the status here https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p...&iId=35528

Use Rambox, it already has clients like FB Messenger and WhatsApp built into it.
