| Looking for a virtual keyboard in/for Linux Lite. |

Hi, I'm new to both Linux and Linux Lite and would like some help with an issue I'm having. The laptop I currently have Linux Lite on has two malfunctioning keys (b and n), so I'd like to either access Linux Lite's virtual keyboard or set up hotkeys for those letters (something like Fn+v=b, Fn+m=n). The latter solution seems way too complicated to me and even if I were able to do that, a virtual keyboard might also come in handy sometime, so I'd like to find it anyway.
However, I can't seem to find Linux Lite's virtual keyboard anywhere. So far I couldn't find it in the Help Manual; nor under the accessibility menu (which is where I'd find it in Windows); nor in the main menu when searching it both in my native language and English. So then, where can I find a virtual keyboard in Linux Lite, please? Also, in (the unlikely) case there isn't one, how can I install a virtual keyboard for Linux Lite (preferably one that blends well with XFCE)? I couldn't find any in Lite Software's menu.
Thanks in advance!

| Suddenly, Linux does not accept my password |

Hi all,
I have Linux Lite 3.8, and it was working for months fine. Suddenly, it no longer accepts my password to return from screen saver or to install anything including updates.
I tried to change the password but then it asks for Admin password, which I don't have and I don't know how to set. I prefer not to reinstall this goddamn thing. Especially because this can happen again.
P.s., please, let's not start with cAPS lOCK on issues or dementia-related suggestions. :005:
P.s. I have already followed the instructions of the Help Manual on how to reset the password. When I reach the point "At the prompt, type passwd 'my username' it says such user does not exist. ???
Thanx

Hello everyone. I’m not tech-savvy so please pardon me if my concern doesn’t make sense to you. My (work) email address was hacked because I opened an attachment from a very legitimate-looking email sent to me. When I opened it, I was using my other PC (Win10) and accessed my email via cloud. Is there any possibility that my other PC (running only Linux Lite 5.4) might have been infected with malware too because I opened Thunderbird hours after that just to check for new emails (the password wasn’t changed yet at the time)? I didn’t open any attachment. I always perform software updates before doing anything, and safe clean with Lite Tweaks before shutting down. Yesterday, I installed clamAV and clamTk, scanned files and directories, didn’t detect anything. My company suggested Malwarebytes for our devices but I searched, it’s only available for Linux Servers. My PCs are not linked (or not networked if I used the term correctly e.g. I cannot access a file in 1 PC from another). Any suggestions on what else should I do to rest assured that my Linux PC is protected? Thank you in advance!
